The Brubeck Institute was established by the University of the Pacific in 2000 to honor its distinguished alumni, Dave and Iola Brubeck. The Institute is comprised of five core programs which include the Brubeck Collection, Brubeck Festival, Outreach Program, Brubeck Fellowship Program, and the Summer Jazz Colony.

2017 Brubeck Festival to include tribute to music of Ella Fitzgerald among featured concerts

The annual festival will feature two of the top names in jazz: singer and songwriter René Marie and violinist Regina Carter, along with talented regional jazz musicians.
